Kim Pope plays a shy, bored housewife married to businessman Levi Richards. Michael Dattore (Michael Gaunt) cruises suburban streets, looking for the right house to invade. Forcing his way into her home, he hustles her upstairs, beats her, violates her with a knife handle, and rapes her. The Filipino maid surprises him and gets some of the same. Gaunt`s shrunken skeletal cokehead and loud plaid pants only make him more rank and believable. Sharp character performances and professional direction contribute to the film`s overwhelming sense of erotic menace.
